Honestly I'm not very happy with this template because templates like infobox US political party, infobox UK political party, infobox swedish political party, infobox Dutch political party etc, see the example of the US democrats on the right. pre-date it and are better equiped for several reasons:

They are nation-specific, and therefore able to deal with specific national characteristics (EU, etc);
They can contain more information, like HQ, political leader etc.;
They do not mention "fiscal ideology" or "social ideology", which are US specific names and conflicts;
It has colour coding (i.e. the labour template is red);
It is more commonly used.

All in all I think the infoboxes should be used and not this template. C mon 07:01, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
