* I-153BS - this version was armed with four 12.7-mm (0.50-inch) machine-guns, instead of ShKAS machine-guns.

This is in direct contradiction to the text above which states that I-153 was test-flown with two TKB-150 (Berezin BS) but in production carried only one due to the weapon's shortage (every other Soviet fighter early in the war carried only a single BS). Four BS would be a pretty hefty load (and recoil) for I-153 as well. What is your source for 4x BS claim?

Also, while the 12.7 mm to 0.50 inch coversion is numerically correct, they are different rounds and the numerical conversion is technically incorrect. - Emt147 Burninate! 17:11, 29 November 2005 (UTC)
