Polow Da Don

Polow Da Don (born Polow-Freache Jamal Fincher Jones) is an Atlanta-based music producer who rose to fame in late 2005, early 2006 for a string of hit singles for artists including Ludacris, Jamie Foxx, Pussycat Dolls, Fergie, and Kelis. He is also currently working on projects with Young Buck, Kelly Rowland, Young Jeezy, Gwen Stefani, Ciara, Mya and many others. He has created his own label Zone 4 Inc. on which he has several artists signed, one of them being Rich Boy. It has been confirmed both by his MySpace page and by his recent video with Rich Boy that his label is an offshoot of Interscope Records.

[edit] Jim Crow

Polow attended Morehouse College in Atlanta, but dropped out in his freshman year to pursue his aspirations to be a rapper with the group Jim Crow. Polow was later signed to Sony Records with the group, which released two albums, Crow's Nest and Right Quick, in 1999 and 2001, respectively. Polow Da Don began his early career recording at 40 Street Records in Atlanta.
