Polish death camps

The term Polish death camps (sometimes also Polish concentration camps) is used to describe German Nazi concentration camps located in German-occupied Poland during World War II. It is sometimes used by international media when describing the Holocaust. Use of the term, often attributed to ignorance or bad intentions, has been monitored and discouraged by the Polish ministry of foreign affairs as well as by Polonia organizations and all Polish governments after 1989. It was also condemned by the American Jewish Committee.^[1]
