Polesworth Abbey

Polesworth Abbey is a Benedictine nunnery in Polesworth near Birmingham, England. It was founded in the 9th century by St. Modwena and King Egbert.
The first abbess was Edgytha (daughter of King Egbert, now St. Editha).
