Poland was represented by Blue Café and the song "Love Song". TVP organized the Polish National Final "Krajowe Eliminacje do Konkursu Piosenki Eurowizji 2004", which was held on January 24th, 2004 at the Torwar Hall in Warsaw. 15 songs participated with the winner being chosen by televoting and SMS voting. Blue Café came in 3rd at the Polish Final for Eurovision in 2003.

At Eurovision, Blue Café gave a powerful and exciting performance with a band present on stage. The lead singer, Tatiana, wore a revealing see-through dress which was darkened at the inappropriate places. Despite an elaborate performance, Poland only scored 27 points, which placed then at 17th.
