[edit] Outstanding technical issues

Style/content discussion is ongoing at Wikipedia talk:Pokémon Adoption Center#New infobox redux. These are strictly technical/implementation issues.

As this isn't yet a completed template, it still has some outstanding issues.

  • There's no good way to link to Pokémon articles in the form of Whatever (Pokémon)|Whatever, such as Raikou (Pokémon) or Persian (Pokémon). (This problem is visible on Meowth).
    • Possible solution: Move the brackets out of the template and into the articles, but this would take a lot of changing by hand.
      • How about taking away the [[...]]'s from the names in that row? It would mean that we'd have to add them to the pokemon articles themselves in that space. So you'd get Johtoname=[[Persian (Pokémon)|Persian]]| rather than johtoname=Persian (Pokémon). Is that workable? --Celestianpower hab 08:13, 18 September 2005 (UTC)
        • That would be what I suggested as a long-term solution, only more-clearly stated. - A Man In Black (Talk | Contribs) 05:35, 19 September 2005 (UTC)
    • Solution implemented. Now to go through and fix the links in all the articles. - A Man In Black (Talk | Contribs) 04:01, 1 October 2005 (UTC)
  • There's no good way to exclude Johto Pokédex info from third-gen Pokémon
    • Temporary solution: We're currently using the extrapolated Johto numbers from b:Pokédex.
    • Longterm solution: Move to a sub-template that defaults to blank, much like Template:PokemonType.
  • There's no good way to deal with the preceding fields for the first Pokémon in a Pokédex, or the following Pokémon for the last Pokémon in a Pokédex.
    • Temporary solution: Hell if I know.
    • Longterm solution: The longterm solution for the Whatever (Pokémon) issue would solve this, but I'm not sure what to do with the dash, or the fact that centering will be screwed up. Alternately, switching to a subtable for the following/preceding Pokémon might make things a lot better-looking.

Feel free to add any problems you spot. - A Man In Black (Talk | Contribs) 05:18, 18 September 2005 (UTC)

There's also the issue of the stats and other technical information and thats being discussed at WP:PAC/T. --Celestianpower hab 08:13, 18 September 2005 (UTC)

Good point. I changed the title to reflect what I meant in the first place, and added a link straight to that discussion. - A Man In Black (Talk | Contribs) 05:16, 19 September 2005 (UTC)

All of the above issues have been solved. - A Man In Black (conspire | past ops) 16:55, 10 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Use in Swedish Pokémon articles

Today I will commence writing Pokémon-related articles in Swedish, and I thought I should inform you that I will be using this template, if that's alright. --TheFinalFraek 14:34, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Link to wikibooks

I removed the link to wikibooks, because the Pokédex is being deleted from there. Instead it has moved to http://www.wikiknowledge.net/wiki/index.php?title=Pokémon Gerard Foley 09:37, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Anatomical Correctness

Well! Now that Serebii.net has revealed that Pokemon will differ slightly in appearance based on gender (e.g. Wooper's whiskers shaped differently), would it be a good idea to add to the infobox on each page a bit on how it looks different? I envision it would be similar to the Shiny Pokemon bit within each infobox in both prose and layout. Of course, the differences of gender won't be fully revealed for all Pokemon until the game actually comes out, which is long from now as of this comment. But still, it's something to consider, I think. Thoughts? Erik the Appreciator 17:24, 13 June 2006 (UTC)

I think we should see how different they are, some of then could be like one less boulder in Onix, so we need to see whether it's valid. Personally I'd remove the Shiny section from the infobox, it seems fannish. Highway Rainbow Sneakers 19:45, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
Eh, well, if it turns out to be too fannish, the differences can just as easily be covered in the Biology sections. Erik the Appreciator 01:41, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] New Style (as of June 2006)

Excellent work on redesigning the Pokemon info box! It makes all those pages seem a good deal professional and orderly. Just one point: Now that the fannish Shiny section is gone, I suppose that that information counts as simple cruft not fit to be put anywhere on Wikipedia anymore. Not that I'm complaining (I'm relieved), it's just we might need to consider what happens to the Shiny Pokemon article now. Erik the Appreciator 18:30, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

The redesign removed the shiny color, Pokédex color, and signature attack fields (just commented out, not yet removed), replaced all instances of hiddenStructure with #if, and switched over to a bordered, colored style similar to {{Pokémon character}}. I much prefer the bordered, top-aligned version, myself. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 19:49, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

Well others don't. Can't we discuss this? I liked the old version, this just seems a step backwards, there's an overboard amount of pink and I despise it. Highway Rainbow Sneakers 19:57, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
I was under the impression this was the discussion. It would be easy to lighten the pink outside of the headers for contrast, if that would help. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 20:01, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
Why does it need to look like a grid for starters? Highway Rainbow Sneakers 20:09, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
More readable, I think. It's an aesthetic call. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 20:11, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
It's an aethstetic deer in the headlights! ; ) Highway Rainbow Sneakers 20:13, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
I like that better, can you unbold some of the headers? Highway Rainbow Sneakers 20:24, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

con't That's a function of your browser. Browsers render <th> tags according to your preferences/style sheet. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 20:29, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

Looks pretty good, but can't you make it so that the "Evolves to" and "Evolves from" disappear when there's nothing there? There doesn't really seem to be a point to say "None". ' (Feeling chatty? ) (Edits!) 20:38, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
The lack of an evolved or pre-evolved form is a fairly significant fact. If I were going to shave this down to what I felt were the bare minimums, I'd lose a lot of trivia, but I'd keep the default "None". - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 20:40, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

Evolves to needs unlinked personally. Does "Biological" need to be there? Highway Rainbow Sneakers 20:42, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

No, not really, but removing it calls attention to the fact that the species, height, weight, and ability are kind of superfluous. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 20:48, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
It looks good now, can you change the colour of the top band? Highway Rainbow Sneakers 20:51, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
To what? - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops)
The same colour as the rest of the template. Highway Rainbow Sneakers 21:01, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
#ffbfff is what we use for everything, and right now it's the color of the name bar. I'd rather retain that color at least for the header. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 21:04, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
Fine. I still don't like it, but I guess I'm going to have to live with it. Highway Rainbow Sneakers 21:19, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
If you want to change that, it'd be worth bringing up at the project, since it's used in a lot of stuff. I'm not attached except to consistency. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 21:32, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

The template now creates white space above the intro in many articles. Any way to fix this? ' (Feeling chatty? ) (Edits!) 21:27, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

Did that help? I removed anything I thought could be causing it.- A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 21:32, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, it's good now. ' (Feeling chatty? ) (Edits!) 21:34, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
While Shiny color and Signature attack are not officially defined, Pokedex color is. It was introduced in Ruby/Sapphire as a search method for the Pokedex. The source for all of the colors is Psypokes.com, and Serebii.net has recently added them as well. Andros 1337 22:54, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
I removed it because it's unencyclopedic, not terribly useful, and pretty much game-guide content. This doesn't have anything to do with ambiguity. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 23:02, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Stage field

Any way you can make the "Stage" header hidden if the stage is unknown? Perap's stage isn't known, and if I put in "Unknown" then it directs to this pointless list that I recently prod'd. ' (Feeling chatty? ) (Edits!) 06:42, 26 June 2006 (UTC)

Done. And I'm going to nuke List of Unknown Pokémon as an A1. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 05:30, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Categories not filled in when template in use

Several Pokémon articles do not include the categories that are involved in this template. I recently added the Category:Psychic Pokémon to Abra (Pokémon), Kadabra, and Alakazam, because the template did not work in this way. Ryulong 05:29, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

Fixed it, to the best of my knowledge. Ryulong 05:32, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Recent vandalism

There's been a lot of inappropriate vandalism circling the Pokémon articles recently. It happened yesterday to the pokenum template, which unfortunately happened to be on the front page of Wikipedia, as Bulbasaur was a featured article. If anyone knows how to go about locking this template to prevent further vandalism, please do so ASAP. --Brandon Dilbeck 18:40, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

I'll request it for protection, cheers —Minun Spiderman 19:29, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
I asked Natalya (talk contribs), but she may not be online. Highway Return to Oz... 19:30, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Generations

Um... Could someone who knows how to do this make the template work so that even if you don't type in a category for one of the generations, the template will make the category show on the article itself? Like the Pokemon types? --N. Harmonik, 23:44, August 5 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Template Addition

Some numbers for Diamond and Pearl are being released now, such as Naetle #001, Mukkuru #010, Buoysel #056 and so on. When are shinounumber, shinoupreceding and shinoufollowing going to be added after the Hoenn tabs? When we know Shinou's English name? Double Dash 16:06, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

When D&P come out and we have the whole dex to work with. It's not useful for navigation until then. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 16:08, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Use in other articles

I have a concern about how this template works with pages that are not Pokémon species. For example, the template is being used on this user page, and as a result, the user page is added to the categories Water Pokémon and Third generation Pokémon because they are included with the template. This kind of thing occurs in several other categories too—look in the Grass Pokémon category for a couple of examples. Does anyone have any ideas about what can be done to prevent this from happening? --Brandon Dilbeck 19:00, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

I'll throw out the word "parser functions" but I have no clue on how that actually works. It seems to work for TFD. Hbdragon88 22:45, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
I'll see what I can do about adding a switch to turn off the categories. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 22:48, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

We now have a new parameter: "catsoff." Add the catsoff parameter (defined as whatever you want, it doesn't matter) to any infobox from which you want to remove the categories, and remove it when you want the categories back. HC's Roxanne page has an example. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 22:56, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

Excellent! Nice work. --Brandon Dilbeck 23:33, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

I've added an even better trick. Now, instead of using catsoff, now it automatically turns off the categories unless the template is being used in the main article space. We don't have to fiddle with catsoff (which now does nothing at all). - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 01:43, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

Excellent! Nice work times two! --Brandon Dilbeck 03:30, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Generation category

This has been bugging me for a long time and I've been afraid to bring it up because I was thinking that you would dismiss it as trivial, but I'm going to get it off my chest. This template's responsible for sorting Pokémon articles into categories like "First generation Pokémon", when it should really be putting those into "First-generation Pokémon", with a hyphen, which is grammatically correct. I would make the change, but I'm afraid I'll mess stuff up. Would it be easy to change this template so that it puts the articles into grammatically correct categories? --Brandon Dilbeck 05:57, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

I'll do it. It'll be a a bit rouge of me since we're supposed to go to CFD, but, eh, fuck it. CFD is a big pain in the butt and I can clean up any mess I make. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 06:11, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] DP numbers now being released

could someone pls enable Shinou numbering so we can start adding them now, rather than having everyone scrambling at the same time, waiting for all the numbers. serebii is posting in real-time on their forum as things are discovered. -Zappernapper 15:29, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

Serebii's forum is a loooong way from a reliable source. If you want, you can start adding them to articles, but please don't add Nat'l numbers yet, and the parameter won't be turned on until D/P is released and we have the first reliable source for numbers. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 15:32, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
were the posts being made by fanboys i would agree, but the forum postings are by the serebii creators as a prelude to the data that will be actually published on the site. if you don't feel that serebii in general is reliable, what site would you suggest as a RS for something as objective as numbers?-Zappernapper 15:49, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
Serebii still occasionally gets things wrong, and this is an awfully trivial fact to have to rush when we can have the most objectively accurate possible source in less than a week. If it were September 2005 and Serebii were about to confidently post Munchlax's number, that'd be one thing, but right now, there's no need at all to rush. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 16:06, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
no rush, just boredom :) -Zappernapper 17:02, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

Pursuant to this, I have forcibly disabled National dex numbers for fourth-gen Pokémon. I'll be happy to fix this once D/P is actually released. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 18:30, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

strictly speaking, DP is released, in japan anyways -Zappernapper 03:57, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
It's released tomorrow. We'regetting reports from a handful of people who have early copies. I'm planning to disable the locks on all the 4th-gen stuff Saturday, once we're not relying on unreliable scraps. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 20:37, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Stage Category

Can someone with the knowledge modify the template so that the categories for the Stages will show up without having to type them in? Just like the Types and Generations? N. Harmonik 17:33, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

Actually, it looks like we're looking to remove Stage from the template altogether. See the discussion about Togepi to see why, and the "Togepi solution" subsection to see what we're thinking about doing about it. Basically, there was some dispute over what Togepi's stage was, so we're just going to avoid it entirely and just list the Pokémon's entire evolutionary line to allow the reader to infer where the Pokémon is in the evolutionary line. --Brandon Dilbeck 04:31, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
God, not YET ANOTHER subcategorization structure. Go to WT:PCP and convince them that yet another category scheme is a good idea first. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 04:33, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
Why hasn’t this been removed yet? --WikidSmaht (talk) 02:51, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] A new hack

Got a new feature most people won't notice; the image is automagically replaced with Wikipe-tan if you use the template outside of article-space. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 23:01, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

Good idea. Much easier than having people complain that they got images removed from their infobox. -Amarkov babble 23:09, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] English name

Sinnoh has been confermed as the English name of the Japanese name for Shin'ou [1], unless someone knows different. London UK (talk) 18:51, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, I know, but renaming parameters just breaks the template. I'll fix it sometime today. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 19:20, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
I've changed the displayed name, so at least that will look right. -Amarkov babble 00:08, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
I’m almost tempted to do this myself. But I’m lazy, so I’ll bug you to do it instead. --WikidSmaht (talk) 02:51, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] height/weight not working correctly

an example can be found at Pinpuku. -Zappernapper 06:06, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

Fixed, and automatic conversion from pounds to kilograms to boot. -Amarkov blahedits 16:52, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
I dunno... look back at Pinpuku--the height field still isn't right. --Brandon Dilbeck 18:23, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

the meter conversion isn't working right.... hmm... i don't want to touch this template i'll leave it up to amrakov and amib. -Zappernapper 18:26, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

The height field isn't working right because you still have to define it, there's no way for automatic conversion there. And what's wrong with the meter conversion? -Amarkov blahedits 18:28, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

just it's lack of being there, which like you said, was b/c it wasn't being defined. I thought it was automatic on all pages, but, looking them over, i guess they're not. But it's a nice functionality to have! and i appreciate you taking the time to try and put it in :) -Zappernapper 19:16, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

I'm working on automatic conversion for height, too, but I have to do it in a way that doesn't break the 492 articles that don't already have it the right way, at least until (if?) they all get changed. -Amarkov blahedits 19:18, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Autoconversion of units

I've gotten weight to do autoconversion between standard and metric, I'm still working on it for height. Why didn't we use {{weight}} and {{height}} in the first place? -Amarkov blahedits 19:41, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

Not sure, but I think the idea was to put in the numbers as they appear in the different international versions of the games, rather than taking the number from one version and converting it to get the other value. Of course, I maybe TOTALLY wrong here, maybe all versions use the same system? Though I would think Europeans would be confused by imperial measurements they haven’t used in decades( centuries?), and Nintendo is usually sensitive to such things. -- WikidSmaht (talk) 02:51, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
That is the idea, which is why I've made sure you can specify both, but why not have autoconversion until someone gets the correct ones? -Amark moo! 02:57, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Sounds good. I didn’t realize you’d implemented it that way. Nicely done. --WikidSmaht (talk) 03:31, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Adding Browser numbers

This doesn't allow for numbers added in Pokémon Ranger, thus, I propose we add this:

<!-- -->{{#if:{{{fiorenumber|}}}|<br /><small>'''Fiore<br />'''{{{fiorepreceding|''None''}}} - '''{{{name}}} (R-{{{fiorenumber}}})''' - {{{fiorefollowing|''None''}}}</small>}}

...between the Hoenn and Sinnoh entries (as Ranger was released before Diamond and Pearl. DanPMK 12:04, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

I'm unfamiliar with the numbering scheme in Pokémon Ranger. Could you describe it? --Brandon Dilbeck 20:59, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
Ranger's scheme is basically regional, with a few differences. In Ranger you're given a "Browser", which is basically a Pokédex, with height and weight and types, etc. The numbering system partially goes by where you find them, but as with the pervious games there's a bit of randomness. Pokémon are of course grouped with their evolutions, but an interesting note is that not all evolutions are in Ranger. You see, in Ranger you only see Pokémon in their natural habitats, you can't evolve them yourself. Hoppip is in the Browser, but Skiploom and Jumpluff are not. Weedle and Kakuna are not, yet Beedrill is. All numbers are proceded by 'R-' to indicate it's used by Rangers. A list can be found here or here. (Note: Serebii's is missing the last 3 for some reason, since we all know he never updates pages once he makes them :P DanPMK 14:04, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
I support adding the numbers, but I don’t know if I like calling the parameter fiorenumber. Rangernum or browsernum, maybe. -- WikidSmaht (talk) 02:51, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Well, the numbers are used only by the Ranger association in Fiore, and it's not like the parameter matters much. The 'Johto Pokédex' is neither mentioned as such in the games, nor does it even use numbers, but we use them anyway for convinience. DanPMK 16:51, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
I guess. Adding it since this has been here for a while with no objection. The numbers are in the List of Pokémon if anyone wants to add them to articles. --WikidSmaht (talk) 07:45, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
What the hell, AMIB? This proposal has been here for weeks, during which time you even posted on this page. If you had an objection, why didn’t you voice it BEFORE the template was edited? And we don’t need a fifth numbering scheme, but we didn’t need the others either, really. --WikidSmaht (talk) 07:57, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

Augh, I thought I objected to this on WP:PCP. We don't need every single numbering scheme ever, especially ones that skip around and only appear in one single spinoff game. This template is bloated enough. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 07:55, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

That was a different discussion. More to the point, the regional Pokédexes ALSO only appear in what is essentially a single game each, two at most. --WikidSmaht (talk) 07:59, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
Mmh. We should probably ditch them, too. At the moment, though, all of the regional dexes recur in at least two games, and all but the newest are in at least three. No sense using a new one, from a spinoff, when it skips all over the place. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 08:06, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
I don’t think we should count partner versions as more than one game, and whether the “third Version” of each generation should be considered another game is deabateable. Maybe a half. So each regional Pokédex except Sinnoh has been featured in 1.5 games. --WikidSmaht (talk) 08:22, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
Okay. It's still more games than one spinoff, and I don't think the regional dexes have much use as it is. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 08:24, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Suggestion

May parameters for Japanese writing and Rōmanji be added to the template? Effectively, I'm asking if the "Japanese name" section could be changed to look like Lizardo (リザード Rizādo?), using the Nihongo template. This way, we could avoid the current state of Bulbasaur (フシギダネ? Fushigidane in original Japanese language versions), which isn't in line with the normal use of the nihongo template. [edit] Template modification for Minomadam

For the Minomadam article, which has a strange case in which Minomadam can be 3 different type combinations, I've come up with a solution that should work for Minomadam like the notation for Magnemite and Magneton, which I've put in my sandbox.[2] If that's implemented, it should work solely for Minomadam, and won't need to be changed with Minomadam's English name since it works off of the National Pokédex number, rather than the name (like Magnemite/Magneton); and there won't be any other Pokémon with the National Pokédex number of 413. Afterward (with the type3 and type4 parameters added to Minomadam), Minomadam's article should look somewhat like this, with categories (type3 and type4 would be automatically added) and with Minomadam's picture instead of Wikipe-tan. Basically, apply the changes seen in the link to my sandbox. Thanks.—M_C_Y_1008 (talk/contribs) 22:33, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

Looks good to me. -- WikidSmaht (talk) 02:51, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

I've actually been fiddling with adding an override tag, so people can do stuff like Magnemite and Minomadam by hand in the article instead of hacking the template. I'll stick in this Mimomadam hack tonight, though, seeing as it's already done. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 05:45, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

I thought I'd mention that I left out some of the source code when I did that. So, if you want, here's the full source code.—M_C_Y_1008 (talk/contribs) 06:47, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Oops. Let me fix that. Messed something up.—M_C_Y_1008 (talk/contribs) 06:48, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Here. Fixed the categories.—M_C_Y_1008 (talk/contribs) 06:53, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
I have unprotected the template so you can do it yourself. Kusma (討論) 16:49, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Why didn't that work?

if you check the diff of my change here, you can see how i was trying to make it so that the categories wouldn't list the names with Foo (Pokémon). But for some reason I'm not seeing, it didn't work. Rather than change it back and create another dump, I was hoping someone could point out the problem (it doesn't appear to have any adverse affects on the pages right now. -ΖαππερΝαππερ BabelAlexandria 03:24, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

See WP:CAT#Category sorting:
"Contrary to some expectations, text after a pipe ("|") in a category link is not used in place of the category text. Rather, this text is used as the sort key on the category page itself. However, again contrary to expectations, that sort text is not displayed."
I'm assuming you were trying to make it display the names of articles like Jynx (Pokémon) as Jynx, so the last sentence would be what applies here.—M_C_Y_1008 (talk/contribs) 03:32, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
