This image of a drawing, painting, print, or other two-dimensional work of art as a promotional item is from the Pokémon series of video games, and the copyright is owned by Pokémon USA, Inc., their affliates, the artist who produced the image, the person who commissioned the work, or the heirs thereof. It is believed that the use of low-resolution images of works of art
- for critical commentary on
- the work in question
- the artistic genre or
- the subject of the work being discussed
- where the image is unrepeatable, i.e. a free image could not be created to replace it
- on the English-language Wikipedia, hosted on servers in the United States by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation,
qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law. Any other uses of this image, on Wikipedia or elsewhere, might be copyright infringement. See Wikipedia:Fair use for more information.

This tag adds images to Category:Pokémon art.
This template has the option of specifying the title that is used to organize the image in its category. For example, with Image:124jynx.png you could type:
{{PokeArt|Jynx}}
The image would be listed under J instead of 1.
With some images, like Image:Exploud.png, this is not necessary and you can feel free to transclude the template without any parameters. This is also recommended for images without descriptive names, like Image:388.png. The alternative is to save a version of the image, upload it under a new, more descriptive title, and then request the old image to be deleted as redundant.
