[edit] Sequel category
To the editor(s) continuously adding the "sequel" category, please cease such action. It is requested that you stop this as Pokémon movies are considerably NOT sequels. If you wish to discuss the inclusion of this category in this article, PLEASE discuss it here with reasons. --Anthony Jake La (Tetsuya-san; talk : contribs) 13:58, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
- You son of a jackal! All Pokémon movies ARE sequels to Pokémon: The First Movie. They take place AFTER the first movie, not BEFORE the first one. --(unsigned comment by 68.21.35.114 (Talk)

- The comment is unneeded. The movies follow the plot of the anime, and therefore, are not considered sequels. Stop adding them if an editor removes it. It's considered vandalism if you continue adding these so childishly without discussing their removal. And, sign your comments. --Anthony Jake La (Tetsuya-san; talk : contribs) 20:54, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
- They're sequels to the first movie, not prequels because they ake place AFTER the first movie, not BEFORE the first one. Even if they did take place before the movie and weren't sequels, then Ash Ketchum would still be wearing the same darn clothes like he did in the first five movies in the film series and the first five seasons in the TV series. --(unsigned comment by 68.21.35.114 (Talk)

[edit] June 15th, 2007 for the U.S?
Not to be rude, but how do we know when this movie will be released in the U.S? It's not even released in Japan yet. 68.166.230.66 18:01, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
I thought it was a direct-to-video release in the US!
- Idiotic idea, when nothing's been confirmed. --Tetsuya-san (talk : contribs) 22:33, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Lionsgate Films and Universal Pictures
Will Lionsgate and Universal really be releasing this film? --(trogga) 23:38, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
- Who the heck has been placing those two companies anyway? There is no proof of there involvement. 69.223.153.189 23:09, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
- We'll have to wait and see until a film studio is confirmed to release this film.
- Oops! It looks like VIZ Media has already been confirmed to release this film.

[edit] U.S. Release with voice actors...
Is there anything official that states the English voice cast? I have removed the names of the English dub until there is an official confirmation from a reliable source. --Puff 14:48, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
It would pretty much make since for the dub of the Movie to use the voices from the Anime. It's actually ignorant not to think so. --MidnightScott 3:40, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
There's always a chance that there will be no English release. Furthermore, I asked that sources be provided before English voice cast was credited on the page. Heh, it's not ignorant to ask for sources kiddo. --Puff 16:46, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
- No English release? They would drop showing it on Cartoon Network a week and a half prior to the advertised date?—ウルタプ 00:06, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- There were no reliable sources in early Feb/late Jan that addressed if the movie was going to be dubbed.. I didn't mean now - They've already dubbed it and it is going to be released. ^^; --Puff 11:46, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
