Pokémon 2BA Master is the first soundtrack released for the Pokémon television series in America. It has been released in many languages around the world, sometimes as Pokémon 2.B.A. Master.
Later releases of the album featured an extra CD, Pokémon World.
Excerpts of tracks 2-5 and 9-10 were shown as short music videos in the second American broadcast season of the anime, in a segment titled Pikachu's Jukebox. The album was unique due to strongly hinting at Misty's feelings toward Ash in one of the songs.
Character vocals occasionally pop up in the songs, especially during Team Rocket's song on track #9, which is almost entirely sung by Jessie, James, Meowth, and Giovanni. One particular vocal bit in the song "Everything Changes" conflicts with the continuity of the series in that it has Brock, Misty, and Ash discussing the evolution of Ash's Metapod into Butterfree, when in fact, Brock had not yet been introduced at the time the event took place in the anime.
It also included a bonus 'Pokerap' video if you put it in your computer.
