"Poison" is a 1990 title track single by the New Edition spinoff group Bell Biv DeVoe. This R&B / hip-hop song, the group's most successful, is about how dangerous it may be to fall in love.

"Poison" became one of the most successful singles of 1990. On the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, "Poison" rose from #52 to #38 the week of April 14, 1990, and eventually peaked at #3 for four consecutive weeks, beginning on June 9, 1990. "Poison" was a staple on MTV and on mainstream radio during the summer of 1990, spending ten weeks in the Top 10. "Poison" finally fell out of the Top 50 the week of August 25, 1990.

It was played in the movie Pootie Tang, included in an episode of the sitcom Scrubs (also referenced in another episode), and in October 2004 Posion appeared in popular videogame Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, playing on R&B, Soul radio station CSR 103.9.

Poison was also sampled for a Nick Cannon song, Titled 'Dime Peice', which featured guess rapper Izzy.
