Pointe Aux Barques Township is a township in Huron County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 10 at the 2000 census.

Pointe Aux Barques is one of the smallest townships in Michigan, consisting of only three partial sections at the tip of the "thumb" on the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. Pointe aux Barques Lighthouse is located here.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 4.2 km² (1.6 mi²). 3.4 km² (1.3 mi²) of it is land and 0.7 km² (0.3 mi²) of it (17.39%) is water.

As of the census2 of 2000, there were 10 people, 5 households, and 2 families residing in the township. The population density was 2.9/km² (7.5/mi²). There were 59 housing units at an average density of 17.1/km² (44.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the township was 100.00% White.

There were 5 households out of which 40.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 20.0% were married couples living together, 20.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 60.0% were non-families. 60.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 40.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.00 and the average family size was 3.00.

In the township the population was spread out with 30.0% under the age of 18, 30.0% from 25 to 44, 20.0% from 45 to 64, and 20.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 40 years. For every 100 females there were 150.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 250.0 males.

The median income for a household in the township was $23,750, and the median income for a family was $21,250. Males had a median income of $16,250 versus $0 for females. The per capita income for the township was $9,400. None of the population and none of the families were below the poverty line.
