Timothy Michael Earwood (born November 25, 1969) is an American poet often compared to Poet Billy Collins. Earwood's poetry is language poetry that borders on paradox and philosophy. His spoken word pieces has found their way to Gnutella peer-based file sharing programs, such as BearShare and LimeWire.

  • After moving from the Ozarks in Arkansas to the San Francisco Bay Area, Timothy began writing and recording spoken word pieces set to the backdrop of hand drumming and acoustic guitars (all written and played by himself), naming the project The Alexander Solution.
  • While living in Missouri during the 1990's, Timothy became associated with Peter Urban, the famous Karate Master who pioneered the style of Karate, Goju-Ryu, on the East Coast of the United States. Timothy was the student of David Box (Urban's most prized pupil). Timothy holds a 5th Degree Black Belt (Go-Dan Kuroi Obi), and hold the distinguished title of Renshi (Young Master).
