Podnebesnaya

Podnebesnaya (Поднебесная; Celestial) is a musical production company organized by Ivan Shapovalov. The project was started in 2004, while Shapovalov was still manager of the group t.A.T.u.. He has continued to work with other artists including 7B, Helya, Ledokol, FlyDream and n.A.T.o.. Shapovalov released a CD of this project in 2004, after t.A.T.u left him. The CD was called Поднебесная No. 1 and although it was released with t.A.T.u. as the artist, the only song on the CD was "Belochka." All other songs were by other artists, but produced by Ivan Shapovalov.

t.A.T.u. в Поднебесной (t.A.T.u. in Underheaven) was a reality documentary show filmed in Russia, that chronicled t.A.T.u. as they were in the process of recording a second album with producer Ivan Shapovalov with his larger project Podnebesnaya. However, the girls rarely showed up for the recording, and most of the show was of Ivan working with his other projects.
A contest was held by STS for fans to send in their own lyrics and demos for the girls to possibly use, but none of them were actually used. They can be found at the STS Fansite.
The title of the show is also known as Podnebesnoy, t.A.T.u. Podnebensnoy and t.A.T.u. V Podnebensnoy. According to the group's official website, Podnebesnaya is translated to "Underheaven", although it is roughly translated to "Celestial".
