L.

Poa trivialis (Rough bluegrass) is an ornamental plant in the Poaceae family. This plant is commonly considered a weed in lawns of golf. Although some superintendents use poa trivialis as a turf grass in areas such as tees and driving ranges. They use this cultivar of poa because it does not need a lot of light or water, therefore they use it on tee areas that dont receive much of either. Also, on the driving range, poa trivialis is used to create a "fake" target green in the distance because of its lighter green color.
