[edit] Managing under Mccauley

I totally disagree with the comment that "Throughout the 1990s, under chairman Dan McCauley, Argyle had a string of managers. Peter Shilton, Neil Warnock and Mick Jones all managed the club, with mixed success." I remember this decade as being resolutely unsuccesful

[edit] Arrested player

anyone know who the player recently arrested for fighting was? the police only named him as 'a 24-year old' which narrows it down to Chadwick, Buzsaky and Djordjic

FYI it was Marcel Seip. Sjc 06:42, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Which season

It is still the 2003/04 season. The club is still considered Division Two by The Football League until sometime in June see User:SimonMayer/Test/Plymouth Argyle F.C. for advanced preparation with 2004/05 updates.

An absolutely fantastic page, a true model for how all football club pages should be. When I know more about editing, I intend to reform the Southampton F.C. page along similiar lines. Saint will 13:07, 25 Aug 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Reverts

Changed back to 21:30, 18 Oct 2004 to correct vandalism and other changes. Tynan is correct. Bornintheguz 20:39, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Current squad

Several of these are different to the official site. Anyone have a definitive list? Bornintheguz 13:57, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Pilgrim Pete

The image of mascot Pilgrim Pete seems extremely grainy (probably due to high JPEG compression). Is there a chance anyone has a higher quality picture that could replace it? ---Benbread 18:12, 13 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Given the general cheesiness of Pilgrim Pete and his antics, you could get David Bailey in to do the pic and it still wouldn't be anything other than a low quality image :) Sjc

[edit] Michael Foot?

I've read in several places that Foot was registered as a player (no. 90) for his 90th birthday in 2003 - presumably just for the one season. If that's true, I think it would certainly be worth a mention, as it raises him out of the ranks of the "ordinary" famous fans section. Loganberry (Talk) 00:52, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Appearance info

Does anyone know why this was removed by 86.31.142.73 recently? Most club pages have details about players with the most appearances for the club. Mphacon 16:29, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Green Army

Player number 12 is Green Army. Can someone explain, please?Bill Tegner 22:48, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

Green Army is number 12 because it gives the impression of a "twelfth man". See "that" speech by Delia Smith at "that" Norwich game for an example. Mageslayer99 19:40, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
