Plus 2

Plus 1 and Plus 2 are standards in high school education in India, done after the tenth standard. Some states use the old 11+1 system, where a student has to complete 11 years of school education followed by one year of PUC or Pre-University Certification. Most states have switched over to the 10+2 education system – 10 years up to high school, followed by two years in a higher secondary school or two years of Junior College (CBSE and ICSE patterns).

Plus 2 is an important part of school, as the marks in this year are used for college admissions.
