Plumber's Rap is the name of the opening theme song for The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!. It featured 'Captain' Lou Albano (as Mario) and Danny Wells (as Luigi) rapping with Super Mario Bros. video game music and sound effects. The video for this opening theme song began with Albano and Wells in character dancing on an purple background with the show's logo, then changed to clips of the cartoon.

An alternate version of the song played before each Super Mario Bros. cartoon on the Super Mario Bros. Super Show!. The video for this version was comprised solely of clips from the cartoon.

During the closing credits, a song with similar music played with Captain Lou singing a completely different set of lyrics. Behind the rolling credits, he danced and moved erratically on a cartoon desert image. In the song, he calls the dance, "The Mario" after the character.
