Plover Cove

Plover Cove or Shuen Wan Hoi (船灣海) is a cove encircled by the hills, Pat Sin Leng (八仙嶺) and Wan Leng (橫嶺), a range of islands, Yim Tin Tsai (鹽田仔), Ma Shi Chau (馬屎洲) and Tung Tau Chau (東頭洲), and a long peninsula extending from Fu Tau Sha (虎頭沙) in Tai Po of Hong Kong near Tolo Channel and Tolo Harbour. Major part of the cove is dammed to from fresh water reservoir, Plover Cove Reservoir.

An area between Sha Lan and Ting Kok is known as Shuen Wan, where the villages of Chan Uk, Lei Uk and Chim Uk are located.
