Talk:Pledge to the Christian flag

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I grew up in a Christian High School, repeating this pledge every day. Even still, I don't see how it is important enough to merit an article. See pages like Wikipedia:Trivia for a guide about what topics are important. Please DO disagree with me -- and the best way to do so is to edit into the article why the Pledge to the Christian Flag deserves an encyclopedia entry. What is its history? Does it affect people, and how? (Remember to keep it NPOV and not using original research.) What churches or schools use it, what churches don't use it, and why? All this information you ask about are perfect examples of why there should be an article. If someone wanted to know the history, importance and use of the pledge this is where they should look. Currently the info is not there, but each article needs to start somewhere. --MrCalifornia 06:37, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
Be bold, edit the article, and show why it's not merely trivia! Chip Unicorn 22:52, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Merge with Christian flag article

I grew up in a Christian school as well, and we said 3 pledges a day: one to the American flag, one to the Christian flag, and one to the Bible. However, this article should be merged in with the article on the Christian flag and should be deleted. Irondog1970 19:22, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
