I myself have a Plecostomus, and have had him for atleast 7 years. and he is acting a little funny. He flops over on his side and jus lays there and this morning I found him to be litteraly standing on his tailfin not connected to the glass like he usually is. Is my Percostomus ready to die, or is there something I can do for him? Please let me know at wordyachtfreak@yahoo.com thanks in advance. I don't know how long they last, this is the first one I ever had. If you have had more than one, then please let me know how long yours have lasted. Amanda
