[edit] Questions regarding Mt. Pinos pictures
Thank you for the pictures for Mt. Pinos! I have constantly checking the page to wait for a decent picture of Mt. Pinos. I would like to know the elevation of the places where these pictures were taken. 1 2 Geographer 12:03, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:PMCinwinter.JPG. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. [edit] Response to Mt.Pinos
You are right of course, mountains Pinos and Frazier are part of Transverse ranges, but the two mountains are part of the San Emigdio Mountains, which itself is part of the Transverse Ranges. In other words, the Transverse Ranges is the parent range of the San Emigdio Mountains. Please see this where I got the information. Thank you for your suggestions though. Greetings ... now you've got me worried. I can visualize being there, standing on that spot ... but no I'm not 100% sure. I'll have to look at the whole set of photos I took in series and see where it fits (because I walked in from the east, taking pictures, climbed to the top, took pictures, walked to the west, took pictures, walked into the Chumash Wilderness, etc... and they should be in the right order). Right now I'm at work, but I'll look on my home computer when I get back there and check, because I might be mis-remembering. Cheers! Antandrus (talk) 00:25, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

I saw your reference to "Highway 33-106" in the Mount Pinos article. Are you referring to California State Route 33? I can't find a reference for the "106" part. As far as I can tell, the former SR-106 was in San Bernardino county. Mike Dillon 20:13, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
