[edit] Your userpage statement

I came across your userpage after you left a note on mine. You have a statement on your userpage which I wanted to take issue with:

"Please don't use Wikipedia to espouse your point of view."

I agree with you 100% on that.

"If you feel strongly about a person or issue, you should probably not contribute to it's article."

That strikes me as a blanket damning of the contributions of many users. It depends entirely on the individual contributor. Its true that some people with strong views on a subject are "POV Warriors" who's main goal is to inject as much of their own bias into an article as they can get away with. However, there are also many people who have strong views on a topic, but nevertheless take the idea of NPOV seriously and attempt to make balanced contributions. In fact, many people who are most informed about a particular topic often are people who happen to have strong opinions on that topic. Part of assuming good faith is to not automatically treat anybody who you suspect has an opinion on a topic as falling into the "POV Warrior" category. Iamcuriousblue 17:14, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Warning

With regards to your comments on Talk:Feces: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. "Do not make personal attacks anywhere in Wikipedia. Comment on content, not on the contributor. [edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Seinfeld-susansgrave.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Seinfeld-susansgrave.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. — pd_THOR | =/\= | 05:29, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
