[edit] A Question, and Statements

In the "Inflated Education" section (which, incidentally seems like an awkward title and one i'm considering revising,) it says that you essentially must buy an Activities Card, and then it says that the card is best discarded after purchase. Why? Doesn't seem Encyclopedic to me, and I think i'll be removing it.

Further, a minor quibble, but in this sentence from the same section, it says "To participate in an after school activity in 2001, a student was expected to pay $35 whereas the same activities were $85 in 2003." Looks like the numbers were transposed.

Also, we now have a name for the hostage who was killed. According to this article, the young lady was 16-year old Emily Keyes. I'd like to add it, but seeing as she was a minor, I have slight qualms. What say you, Wikipedians? LLBBooks 05:27, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

  • Well I believe we should look at how other schools that has had shootings handled it. For example in Columbine they refered to them as the "12 students", but they do refer to some of the students later in the article. Terryrandell
I don't really see any problem if referring to he by name given that she was killed Nil Einne 05:10, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
