[edit] Track synopsis

Am starting a draft version here (long-term project) prior to moving it all to the article page. Please add to it liberally. 83.180.169.29 15:35, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

1. "Planeta Eskoria" - You are about to be introduced to our civilisation: injustice, inequality, economic forces, arms race, human suffering - welcome to a world of genocide on Planet Skum. It's a question of luck where you are born.

2. "Vergüenza" - "Shameful" - against the "disgusting" and "dirty" tradition of bull-fighting. A step-by-step description of the Spanish "cultural" expression, an insult to our intelligence and our evolution as human beings.

3. "Como me pongo" - It makes me mad! Hypocrisy of society as regards drugs.

4. "El autentico" - "A real jerk" - criticism of opinionated people - do you give your opinions or do you impose them? It's easy just to talk for the sake of talking - stop bugging me!

5. "Naval Xixón" - refers to the demonstrations in the streets of Gijón, Asturias, against the reconversion of the shipyards - and the inevitable repression by armed riot squads. A clear call to take to the streets in the workers' struggle. Those in uniform have been armed and are payed for by the taxpayers, including those workers about to be beaten up.

6. "La mosca cojonera" - "The pesky fly" is about how the Pope, the Vatican and how the Church has used Jesus' name in a swindle to enrich themselves, and how they are always in the way.

7. "Eres un@ más" - "Just another number" - now you've come of age - and are entitled to your own ID card! I don't want to be a partner of the police, bankers, etc. (The @ symbol is currently used in Spanish to include the masculine "o" and feminine "a" in one word, rather than uno/una, or the traditional masculine in all uses.)

8. "Derecho de admisión" - refers to the right of establishments such as discos and nightclubs to prohibit entrance to whomsoever they want, with only the bouncers' criteria. In praise of the traditional corner bar.

9. "A la mierda" - against right-wing reactionary racists. They are a minority! Sow me the seeds of freedom!

10. "ETTs" - is about the precarious labour situation in Spain and the passing of a new law permitting temporary employment agencies (ETTs) to set up business (and further expolit workers).

11. "Lucrecia" is a song dedicated to the memory of a woman immigrant worker, Lucrecia Perez, from the Dominican Republic, shot dead in Madrid in 1992 by a neo-nazi guardia civil who was accompanied by 3 under-age youths, for no reason other than that she was foreign. The song finishes with a reference to the priviledges of the few (the Greek-born Queen of Spain) as opposed to those of immigrant workers.

12. "Tio Sam" - Uncle Sam - Military doll. Diplomatic missiles. Another thousand dead - who cares! I have a licence to kill.

13. "Violencia Machista" - calls on battered women to rebel against the men who mistreat them (the "machistic" violence of the title) by either retaliating or abandoning them. Machistic violence = fascistic violence.

14. "Mestizaje" - refers to the benefits of racial inter-breeding - we are all human beings on five continents with one heart. Say no to frontiers and patriotism. Raise the flag to brother/sisterhood and living together as one.
