This article includes some inaccuracies and non-factual comments relating to me which I have corrected and/or made more objective. They are:

"The subjects of Smith's topics became increasingly shrill and inflammatory" changed to "The subjects of Smith's topics were increasingly regarded as inflammatory" [Reason: Opinion presented as fact.)

"a statement concerning screenshots which Smith then used in a story he sold to The Register" changed to "a statement concerning screenshots which Smith then included in a story written for The Register" [Reason: Objectivity. It is routine for a journalist to be paid for his work so why labour the point?)

"This caused a shakeout which saw Smith leave the site, and cemented PlanetCrap's reputation for vitriol and anarchy" changed to "This cemented PlanetCrap's reputation for vitriol and anarchy. Smith left the site shortly after" [Reason: Factual error. I left some time after the Broussard incident, of my own choice and for unconnected reasons.)
