Plaza Theatre Company

The Plaza Theatre Company was formed under the Cleburne Performing Arts Foundation as a non-profit community theater operating in Cleburne, Texas. The Cleburne Performing Arts Foundation was created by the Downtown Cleburne Association in 2007.
The Plaza Theatre Company presents light comedies and musicals that are designed so that the entire family can attend. Shows run nearly every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30pm with matinees occuring on Saturdays at 3:00pm.
Each show is casted in open auditions allow members of the community and surrounding areas to participate in the shows. Local members of the community also assist in other operations of the theater.

The Plaza Theatre Company also presents a high-energy interactive show for children on most Saturday mornings. Children can interact with the characters on stage to help them make correct choices as the kids themselves learn valuable life lessons. Most of the children shows are written by local authors.

The Original location for the Plaza Theatre Company will be at 208 South Main St., Cleburne, Texas. Plans are in the works to move the theatre company to a larger building in the near future.
