Plavecké Podhradie is a village and municipality in western Slovakia in the Malacky District in the Bratislava region.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1247.

The village lies at an altitude of 256 metres and covers an area of 21.188km². It has a population of 696 people.

The Plaveč Castle and few caves in the Little Carpathians are located nearby.
