PlasmaCAM is a metalworking term referring to the precision metal cutting system developed by PlasmaCAM, Inc. The system uses a desktop computer running proprietary software to control an electro-pneumatic torch mounted on a table to cut large sheets of metal.

PlasmaCAM can accommodate a number of different torches and compressors, making it an ideal machine for low volume, limited budget metal-working operations.

The current model of the cutting table is the DHC, which stands for Digital Height Control. This allows the cutter to automatically adjust height for material such as corrugated metal.
