Planning Policy Guidance Notes
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In the United Kingdom, Planning Policy Guidance Notes (PPG) are statements of the Government's national policy and principles towards certain aspects of the town planning framework. They apply to England only. They are legally binding and may be treated as material considerations in the determination of planning applications.
Under the provisions of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004, they are gradually being replaced by Planning Policy Statements (PPS).
