Plain Township is one of the seventeen townships of Stark County, Ohio, United States. Located near the city of Canton, it is one of the more populous urban townships in Ohio.

The local school district is Plain Local Schools, and the high school is GlenOak High School.

Plain Township is located at 40°52'25" North, 81°19'54" West (40°52'25.14" N 81°19'54.48" W )GR1.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 73.81 km² (28.5 mi²). 73.29 km² (28.3 mi²) of it is land and 0.5 km² (0.2 mi²) of it is water.
Plain is bordered by the city of Canton, Canton Township, Jackson Township, Perry Township, Lake Township, Nimishillen Township, and the city of North Canton.
According to the 2000 census, Plain Township had a population of 35,543.
