Placostylus bollonsi caperatus is a large rare terrestrial gastropod mollusc in the family Bulimulidae, endemic to the Three Kings Islands of New Zealand. It is found at an altitude of about 500 ft under cover of stunted ngaio (Myoporum) scrub.
The shell is smaller and narrower than the typical Placostylus, with a taller spire.
Height is up to 97 mm, and width up to 36 mm.
Placostylus bollonsi caperatus is classified by the New Zealand Department of Conservation as being Nationally Critical.
