Placostylus bollonsi arbutus is a large rare terrestrial gastropod mollusc in the family Bulimulidae, endemic to the Three Kings Islands of New Zealand. It is found at an altitude of about 700 ft in forest, mainly under the canopy of rangiora.
The shell is probably the largest for the genus, with a tall narrow spire, 2.5 times the height of the aperture.
Height is up to 113 mm, and width up to 42 mm.
Placostylus bollonsi arbutus is classified by the New Zealand Department of Conservation as being Nationally Endangered.
