Placostylus ambagiosus spiritus is an extinct large terrestrial gastropod mollusc in the family Bulimulidae, endemic to the Spirits Bay area of Northland in the North Island of New Zealand.
The shell is small to moderate in size, somewhat resembling Placostylus ambagiosus worthyi but having more developed apertural processes, particularly the basal lip tubercle.
Height is up to 79 mm, and width up to 34 mm.
