Placostylus ambagiosus pandora is a large rare terrestrial gastropod mollusc in the family Bulimulidae, endemic to the Spirits Bay area of Northland in the North Island of New Zealand. It is found in rocky scree under cover of Muehlenbeckia and Phormium (flax), in a a small forest remnant, containing Corynocarpus laevigatus (karaka) trees.
The shell is of moderate size, with a very dark reddish-brown interior, ochraceous-salmon rounded lip, and deep reddish within the aperture. The apertural processes are confined to a single strong tubercle on the basal lip.
Height is up to 71 mm, and width up to 31 mm.
Placostylus ambagiosus pandora is classified by the New Zealand Department of Conservation as being Nationally Critical.
