P. K. van der Byl, Rhodesian government minister, from political literature. Use of this image has no impact on its market value. Fair use in the context of educational, non-profit making articles about the subject or Rhodesia.

The photograph is believed to have been taken by one William Higham, a freelance photographer who was active in Rhodesia during the UDI period. Higham's current whereabouts are unknown, but when last heard of he was in Brisbane, Australia. The e-mail address highamw@ozemail.com.au has been given for him. Although, messages to that address are not answered. Many of Higham's photographs are used to illustrate web pages and articles. The term "permission pending" is commonly used to describe copyright status of his images.

Google "William Higham Rhodesia" and quite of lot of his material appears.
