Don't Bring: -updated 9/6/06
- Charcoal

- Butter
- Krusteaz
- Bisquick
- Mustard
Note: there is a new set of padlocks for chaining boats by LWBH, they have a key on the rack by fusebox. There are 2 more Masterlocks of the set by key rack. The old American Lock set still opens essentials so this key does not need to be distributed.
Also, There is a new Smoke/CO2 detector above front door. the battery is left out to use less of it while no one is around. It is pretty sensitive to bacon cooking in the oven so unplug it for that.
Also, there is a new space heater in back room/shower. --PJV 17:52, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Maintenance
- Step Replacement
The 2nd and third step from the bottom were replaced with one new step. New step logs (maple) are stored under the back right side of the toolhouse. PJV
- New Docks Needed?:
- Sectional- similar to current system, 4' x 8' aluminum sections on single pole attatchments. Wood, aluminum, or plastic panels on top.
- PROS: easily storable pieces, no long runners.
- CONS: 4'x8' aluminum sections would be harder to bring down steps than even perhaps the long runners. Little improvement for such a cost.
- Rolling- just like mainland, one-piece aluminum on 4 wheels. Wood, aluminum, or plastic panels on top.
- PROS: Little or no assembly, easily adjusted for varying water level.
- CONS: Where to roll it... either by boathouse or dip in shoreline sunset trail, both a considerable distance to roll in water. Placing a track over steps and winch-rolling it up is also very problematic (for one, it would stick up beyond the top of the steps.)
- Rolling sectional- 12' pieces of dock with wheels at one end of each. Wood, aluminum, or plastic panels on top.
- PROS: Less assembly than sectional, easily adjusted to water levels, more likely to be winched or perhaps even walked/rolled up steps and stored by firepit.
- CONS: No easy place to roll thepieces without winch system, which may not be too easy. Rolling elsewhere (by boathouse) would defeat its advantages over rolling dock.
- Floating- augered-in poles and floating plastic sections that rise and fall with water level.
- PROS: Self-adjusting to waterlevels, manageable sections with only single poles instead of H-frames and runners or aluminum rectangles.
- CONS: narrower docks (like what we would likely get) are somewhat unstable- with up and down motion under weight, possibly more than the side to side motion old H-frames had, the pole's auger would be hard to drive into the lakebed there.
- Inventory:
- ~5 cords of wood (0, 1, 2, 3 & 4 years old)
- .75 gal. Emerald Green Sears flat latex Paint (enough for small touch-up job)
- <.5 gal. Barcelona Brown Sears flat latex Paint (enough for smaller touch-up job)
- no caulk, very little good primer
- no grass seed
