Pixy Stix

Pixy Stix is a powdered candy packaged in a wrapper resembles a drinking straw. In the US, they are popular during Halloween. Pixy Stix are made by Willy Wonka and similar products are made by other companies. The candy is usually poured from the wrapper into the mouth. Occasionly children attempt to ingest the candy intranasally, mocking cocaine usage. The ingredients in Pixy Stix are as follows: Dextrose, Citric Acid, Less Than 2% Artificial and Natural Flavors. Pixy Stix are a registered trademark of Societe des Produits Nestle S.A. Vevey, Switzerland.

- In the film The Breakfast Club, Ally Sheedy's character has a memorable scene in which she eats a cereal and Pixy Stix sandwich.
- In one episode of the television series The Simpsons, Apu calls Lisa a "little pixie", saying, "You are as sweet as the sticks that bear your name!" In another episode, Bart convinces the Flanders kids that there is no sugar in Pixy Stix (their ingestion of the product causing them to go on a sugar high).
- In one episode of the television series Dharma & Greg, Dharma gets a high off Pixy Stix.
- On the television series Upright Citizens Brigade, Pixy Stix are a drug known as Supercool (they are featured during the second season).
- Amy Ray makes mention of Pixy Stix in her song "Driver Education."
