Pixel crack is a slang term used to refer to brightly-hued artwork in games (especially MMOs). Many times, the items which are given such a hue by developers are created for the sole purpose of collection by players so that they might be displayed as a form of eye-catching prize. Amassing large quantities of or especially brightly hued items is a hobby of many in online games, even though most such items posses few if any special qualities beyond their hue. Pixel crack may also refer to entire games.
