Pitkyaranta (Russian: Питкяранта, Finnish: Pitkäranta) is a town in the Republic of Karelia, Russia. It is located on the north-eastern coast of bigest european lake - Lake Ladoga. Geographic coordinates: 61°34′30″N, 31°28′40″ECoordinates: 61°34′30″N, 31°28′40″E. Population: 13,347 (2002 Census). Postal code - 81433. City is founded in XIX century.
