Pithawalla

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Homer D. Pithawalla is a professor of Law at the Government Law College, Mumbai. He is popular among his students as Professor Pithawalla.

Prof. Pithawalla, a highly successful lawyer, has been teaching in Government Law College since more than 30 years. His illustrious students include Supreme Court and High Court judges and advocates.

Initially a professor of Company Law, Prof. Pithawalla now teaches budding lawyers Contract Law and Family Law (Indian Succession Act, 1925), and Conflict of Laws (Private International Law). His involving and interactive lectures, logic games and joke sessions ensure that his classes are always full to the brim, so much so that he has to often face the complaint of other professors that he 'steals' their students. Shuttling between Delhi and Mumbai, he always finds time for his students and rarely misses a lecture.
