Pitch Black Progress is the second studio album by 5-piece melodic death metal act Scar Symmetry.

"Pitch Black Progress" was recorded, mixed and mastered at Black Lounge studios, Avesta, Sweden, on various occasions during the fall of 2005, by Jonas Kjellgren. Artwork and layout was made by Anthony Clarkson. "Pitch Black Progress" was released in Europe on the 21st of April 2006 and in North America on the 2nd of May 2006 through Nuclear Blast Records.
