Located beneath Sugarloaf Mountain in the Rio de Janeiro neighborhood of Urca, this walking trail leads from the Praia Vermelha to the top of the first of Sugarloaf Mountain's two humps. Also called the "Caminho do Bem-te-vi", the path follows the curve of the beach for several hundred meters. It is frequented by families, tourists, local runners, and soldiers from Urca's nearby military base.
