[edit] King of World 7
I don't recall any Piranha Plant King, although I do remember a Spider King (Spider from Super Mario Bros. 2). -- A Link to the Past 09:04, July 19, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] gooey piranha
shouldn't this be a more secondary image? aesthetically speaking, you have to think in the mind of the reader: the first thing the eye dashes to is the first picture, and even to someone like me who knows well what a piranha plant from mario looks like, it immediately struck me as a bad representation. i thought i'd make a note of it; i will try to look for a good image myself, but put this here in case someone else would. - I agree. I'm not even sure if that picture should be included at all. I'll replace it if I can find a better image.--Daveswagon 00:38, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
- Done. If anyone can improve on that, please do so.--Daveswagon 00:53, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] beyond Mario
Could this article be expanded to take piranha plants from other game francises into view (the Crash Bandicoot games, for instance, uses piranha plants as regular enemies)?
- It could be worth noting in a specific section, if it relates to the Piranha Plant of the Mario series (which this article concerns). --BlizzardGhost 11:02, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
The Crash Bandicoot Piranha Plants have nothing to do with the Nintendo characters and therefore should be included in a seperate article.
I agree that this section should be removed, but I'll wait to hear why it should remain. Just because the Deku Baba, Crash Bandicoot PP, etc. are carnivorous plants means nothing; this article should exclusively be for the Mario PP. Hardcore gamer 48 07:22, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Smilax
Shouldn't Smilax from Super Mario RPG be listed in the notable Pirahna Plant section? It was a semi-major boss...--MK141 22:21, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Lava Piranha
This section reads very informally. "You" and words such as "like" are used regularly. Any suggestions for clean-up?
