Pirates@home is a distributed computing project that is currently being used to test BOINC's forum software for possible use by another project: Interactions in Understanding the Universe. Pirates@home was previously used to help develop a screensaver for Einstein@Home. It uses the Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing (BOINC) platform.
