The DVL-XXXX Series of LaserDisc Home Video Players were manufactured by The Pioneer Corporation and were some of the last LaserDisc Players made before its Retirement. They Included the capability of playing LaserDisc, CD Video, Audio CD, and the newest(at the time)Consumer Video Product, The DVD.

The DVL-700 Was the worlds first consumer available LaserDisc-DVD combination player. It Included S-Video outputs, A Graphic User Interface GUI. The Player also included a separate Disc Door for the LaserDisc Movies and The DVD Movies, Audio CD'S, and CD Video Discs.

A bestseller in Japan, Played Audio Discs, LaserDisc, DVD and CD Video with an impressive performance. When Using LaserDisc movies, The Disc Player included Both Side Play. When the disc, normally needing turnover at a certain point, reached that point, the player would start playing side 2 with another laser on top. The Both Side play included a new, faster type of Both Side Play system which decreased the pause time between Side change.

This Video and Audio player was a part of Pioneers Elite series models. Similar to the DVL-9 In features.

This model of Combination player included several nifty features. Including Digital Audio Outputs, S-Video Outputs, Optical Audio Outputs and Component Video Outputs. This Players had a good sell point as The European (PAL) and North American (NTSC) Models could play both NTSC and PAL region LaserDiscs freely . This Player has been reported to have irritating Video Noise and Jitter during Playback.

This is Pioneer's Second DVL Model combination Player of the Elite series. This Player included a Separate DVD/CD - LaserDisc door,a new and improved GUI, Memory of Last Scene played On LaserDisc and DVD, and Both Side Play.

Similar to Above models, Included Front Display Lights Dimmer, the DTS Digital Theatre System, even quicker Both Side Play, Frame step play and Video Transfer Rate indicator. This Model is the same one that David Letterman apparentley owned and had problems with DVD Playback.
The DVL-919 is the only laser disc player still on the market in North America.

This Combination Player included most of the above features and a Karaoke Playing feature. The Karaoke Feature had Vocal Scoring features based on how on-key you are on singing.
