Welcome to Wikipedia, Pinikas! My name is Ryan, aka Acetic Acid. I noticed that you were new and haven't received any messages yet. I just wanted to see how you were doing. Wikipedia can be a little intimidating at first, since it uses different formatting than other sites that use HTML and CSS. In the long run, though, you'll find that the WikiSyntax is a lot easier and faster than those other ways. Here are a few links to get you started:

There are a lot of policies and guides to read, but I highly recommend reading over those first. If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. This way, others know when you left a message and how to find you. It's easier than having to type out your name, right? :)

Thanks for uploading Image:ArchangelosRuins.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the image qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stan 03:50, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hadjidakis Controversy
Pinikas, why do you continuously remove the categorisation of Hadjidakis as a " gay musician"? It is widely known that Hadjidakis was openly gay.
Though it was widely known, Hadjidakis himself never admited such thing. I think such categorization is misleading.
A friend of mine has a book, in whose edition the Orchestra of Colours is involved. I do not remember the title of the book, I will ask him and tell you. Anyway it can be found in almost every big Greek bookshop.
In it, Agathi Dimitrouka( one of the people who wrote lyrics for Hadjidakis' songs), she is asked by the journalist whether Gatsos was annoyed by Hadjidakis' "sexual preferences". She answers that although Gatsos was from Peloponnisos, he was very open-minded. She also says that because Hadjidakis was very charming, Gatsos said to him (in a humorous manner) that fortunately he( Hadjidakis) did not like women, because if he liked women, all the women would prefer him( Hadjidakis) and there would be no women left for the others.
In the same book Michael Kamen( member of NewYork Rock 'n Roll Ensemble who worked with Hadjidakis) says that the album "Reflections" in the beginning was meant to be a soundtrack of a film by a Turkish director, . He says that one of the reasons why Hadjidakis stopped working for the Turkish director was the fact that he made continuously fun of Hadjidakis' homosexuality.
In the same book Theodorakis says that Hadjidakis was proud to be "different"( because he considered it a case of freedom and fullfilment) at an era when it was very difficult to be different.
I think that it since Hadjidakis' homosexuality is widely known in Greek society, since some of his closest friends confirm that Hadjidakis was gay and since NOONE of his friends and family( not even himself) has ever denied the truthfulness of the widely spread belief of Hadjidakis' homosexuality, it is clear that Hadjidakis was gay.
If you want I can tell you in a few days the name of the above book and the exact pages at which Hadjidakis' close friends and coworkers confirm that he was gay.
If you insist on your opinion, we can contact Wikipedia, demand a third opinion, arbitration etc.
