Pink Vodka

P.I.N.K. is the first 80 proof, super-premium vodka infused with caffeine and guarana. P.I.N.K. has no added flavor, providing an energy boost without having to add the unwanted flavor of popular energy drinks. It proceeded to market in 2002 by Zygo Energy Vodka (70 proof).
Zygo differs from P.I.N.K. in that it is flavored with natural orange, peach, vanilla and juniper. It also has Taurine, d-ribose, guarana and yerba mate. P.I.N.K and Zygo share guarana as a common ingredient.
Both P.I.N.K. and Zygo are a response to the popularity of mixing spirits with energy drinks like Red Bull which is famous for its active ingredient of Taurine. This mixing started in the late 80s within a segment of the San Francisco nightlife culture devoted to "smart drinks." Over the course of the rave music movement, this evolved into the energy drink category and its use as a mixer with spirits.
P.I.N.K. Vodka is made using a unique process to extract the essence of guarana (a natural form of caffeine that is 2 ½ times stronger than the caffeine in coffee or tea) while eliminating its native Brazilian dark, bitter flavor.
