Pinewood School is a private, non-denominational school in Los Altos, California with three campuses. two in Los Altos, and the third in Los Altos Hills, spanning from Grades K-12. The lower campus serves grades K-2, middle campus serves grades 3-6, and upper campus serves grades 7-12.

Approximately 300 students comprise the student body of Pinewood Upper Campus, with 100 students enrolled in the junior high and about 200 students enrolled in the high school.

WISCR is an acronym for Well Rounded-Insightful and Critical Thinker-Self Motivated-Clear Communicator and Respectful Indvidual of Character. It was designed to give the students rules to live by and to aspire to.

Pinewood's school sports include volleyball, cross country, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, golf, track and field, tennis, and swimming. Its high school girls' basketball team has won the Division V State Championship under its head coach, Doc Scheppler, three times, (2002, 2005, and 2006).
