Pineal Gland Cyst

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A pineal gland cyst is a cyst in the pineal gland. It is extremely common, supposed to occur in 40% of the population (it is found in the brain during 40% of all autopsies). Usually, however, it is benign, and only fewer than 100 people experience problems due to this disorder. If the pineal gland cyst grows too large, this can lead to hydrocephaly and vision problems.
